One day, while stopping for gas, I met Alexandra, who was working at the station. Her energy immediately drew me in. There was something about her that made me want to learn more about her story. I asked for her contact and reached her with this proposal. A few days later, I found myself alone with her in an abandoned warehouse she showed me, observing and capturing both her light and her darkness; and later, in her home, listening to her story. From Ukraine to Spain. A journey through different families, different situations shaped by pain and addiction, a need to be reborn into an identity never fully revealed, and a constant duality that has carved a new path. A documentary piece that gives voice to Alexandra, her story, and her identity.
